Introduction

There are many software tools that I use on a daily basis. I decided as I get asked frequently about which tools I use to put this list together. I am not saying these are the best tools out there just my preference. Every day there are more and more tools and website being created. I am sure you have a preference as well which won't be on this list. Please share with me if you feel I need to know about the tool you use.

If you like it or hate it Video is here to stay (I don't mean VHS). There are a couple of tools I use, you can get away with 1 but they have multiple purposes.

SnagIt

This handy tool enables quick screen recording when you can trim your screen, camera or both captures.

VPN

VPNs are used to create a secure connection over a public network. VPNs are often used to connect to the internet through a public Wi-Fi network, such as those in airports and coffee shops. A VPN can also be used to connect to a corporate network over the internet.

When I am traveling around you can never know who is listerning in to your network traffic. You got to think, do I need to access that information now or check my email. Do I need to access my bank when I am on the road.

Sometime you may have to break this rule. Or you just want to make sure you have done the best job possible to protect yourself from people looking at you internet traffic.
